Bearings Corporation is proud to offer a line of split pillow block
housings which are custom produced in Spain by SAFAR, a long established
manufacturer of bearing housings and adapter assemblies. All of our
housings completely conform to ISO R113, BS 1642, and JIS 1551 standards.

SAFAR pillow blocks are usually made of cast iron. For extra heavy duty
applications ductile iron or cast steel pillow blocks are available. Material
selection should be based on careful analysis of the operational and
environmental demands of the application. Due to their higher cost, ductile
iron and cast steel should be chosen only where extreme conditions justify
their use.
